About Bri
Brianna Kiesel-Acker is a Hall of Famer, WNBA veteran, educator, mother, and performance speaker. Selected 13th overall in the 2015 WNBA Draft, she remains the only player in Pitt women's basketball history to record a 1,500-point, 500-rebound, 400-assist career stat line. When the cheering stopped and the jersey was stripped away, she faced her most grueling tryout yet: learning who she was without a basketball in her hands.
Through back-to-back roster cuts, losing a league MVP title by one vote, and the transition to coaching, teaching, and motherhood, she discovered that true greatness is never bound to a court. Excellence is a standard you carry, not a place you visit.
